The Fabulous Life of Nigeria’s President.

He is the Commander-in-Chief of one of Africa’s most powerful military, head of APC political party and precides over Africa’s richest and most dynamic economy. He precides over arguably the most effective and successful political economic and military alliance in the world. His decisions can quell crises andin the 16 member ECOWAS countries.

Americans say the U.S president has the toughest job on earth, i beg to differ. The Nigerian president has the toughest job in the world. He is the president of the Federation of Nigeria, Africa’s most populous country with over 300 diverse ethnicity and languages. A nation that is evenly split between the two grestest religion in the world. The country with the largest Christian population in Africa. The country with the largest Muslim population in Africa. A country with an almost constant state of strife and turmoil.

The richest nation Africa has ever seen. Africa’s first trillion dollar economy with a proven oil reserve of 41 billion barrels, valued at $6 trillion USD,yet sadly the only major oil producing country where %60 of its population live below the poverty line. A country wealthy enough to build what would become Africa’s best purpose built city from scratch in under three decades yet unable to provide pipe borne water for the majority of Nigerians.

The leader of Africa’s cultural superpower in music, movies and the arts, with the world’s most entrepreneurial populace.

Which ever way you look at it Nigeria presents the best of both worlds to the extreme. Being in charge of a nation as huge and diverse is high octane stress. So stressful its taken the life of one Nigerian president and the current president is already on the verge of being number two.
That said, its not all doom and gloom. Being president of Nigeria does have its reward as we will see in these photos.
